Untamed Scars
Untamed Scars is a non-euclidian game where the player his trapped in his dreams and have to escape his own mind to escape madness.
As one of the two developpers one the project, I worked on the non-euclidians doors for the corridors. The main challenge was to get the illusion of passing a normal door to not break the gameplay experience.
Then I integrated it in level designs for the game. Optimization been necessary to make the game running with a big amount of portals.
All parts of the level design been added with the portal in a manager tool who spawn and dispawn portals and rooms as long as the player progress in game.
